Liza Weaver has always had a love and passion for animals. Growing up she had hamsters, guinea pigs, and cats before finally getting her first dog (an Alaskan Village Dog) in 2011.

Over 10 years of experience with competitive sled dogs has given Liza a new appreciation for working canines and the importance of massage and bodywork. Humans have been using these modalities in sports for years. Sled dogs, and other sport dogs and companion dogs, can benefit from these practices too, and Liza is working towards applying these strategies whenever possible.

Her passion for happy and healthy dogs, as well as canine nutrition, have lead to the formulation of her own dog food and being a leading advocate for improved care of sled dogs.

Liza is a member of the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork (IAAMB) and received her certifcations through Angel's Animals LLC. She currently holds certifcations in: Holistic Carnivore Nutrition, Canine Myo-Manipulative Functional Therapy, Canine Craniosacral Therapy, Canine and Equine Kinesiology Taping, Animal Neuro-Myofacial Release Technique, Cold Laser Therapy, and Animal Reiki.

Liza currently lives in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with her husband, 16 sled dogs, beagle, Police K9, and 2 cats.
