Cold Laser Therapy
Cold Lasers use different wavelengths of low level light to stimulate the tissue. LASER stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission Radiation. It is called a cold laser because it does not give off heat.

By stimulating the tissue cells, it causes the animal's mitochondria to produce more ATP (energy) thus allowing the cells to heal faster and decrease inflammation. This treatment can be used on a variety of acute and chronic conditions such as lacerations and arthritis.

There are several different classes of lasers on the market. Canine Complete uses three different Red Light Therapies: Class 3B Cold Laser, According to Gospel Red Light Therapy Light Pads, and a Class 3B Acupoint Laser Pen.

Most vet clinics are using a Class 4 laser. These lasers have a slightly higher power output than a Class 3 which allows for shorter treatment times, but same results.
